What each probe checks.

Web app (/api/health): Liveness probe. Returns 200 + a server-side timestamp as long as the Next.js runtime is serving requests. Does not touch any upstream — that’s what the four other probes are for.
Database (/api/health/db): Round-trips a lightweight read against Supabase Postgres via the admin client to confirm RLS + service-role auth are wired and the database is accepting connections.
Anthropic Claude (/api/health/anthropic): Pings the Anthropic API with a 1-token completion to confirm ANTHROPIC_API_KEY is valid and the health model is reachable. Engine + audit lenses use Claude Sonnet 4.6 by default; Opus 4.7 is available via ANTHROPIC_MODEL override.
Stripe (/api/health/stripe): Verifies STRIPE_SECRET_KEY is valid by reading the account’s balance object. Does not move money. Webhook signature verification is gated on STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET — separate concern, separate probe surface.
Twilio (/api/health/twilio): Confirms Twilio account-SID + auth-token by fetching the parent account’s status. Consumer flows are email-only; this probe is informational for shop-side SMS delivery.
